By continuing to access and use our website, you agree to the fact that you are tied to the conditions and terms of use below. The Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy of Famous Designs define the agreement between you and Famous Designs concerning this online website.

The terms and conditions below apply to each transaction that takes place on the Famous Designs website. Each and every order placed by our customers for an item is treated as an offer to purchase Products (“Product” or “Products”), which are governed by the following terms and conditions. Keep in mind that the minute you place an order, you accept to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions you must not order any Product through our site.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully and make sure that you understand them, before ordering any Product from our site.

These Terms were updated on 20th May 2020.

Ordering From Us

2.1. You acknowledge that by placing an order with us you will be under an obligation to pay for the Products in that order.
2.2. Our website uses SSL encryption software to ensure for sensitive data protection. 
Your information is always secured using 128 bit encryption.
2.3. Our order process allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting your order to us. Please take the time to read and check your order at each stage of the order process.
2.4. Unfortunately we cannot stop an order once is has been dispatched by us. If you change your mind about your order after this stage, you can return the Products to us in accordance with our returns policy.
2.5. Before ordering from us it is your responsibility to check and confirm your ability to receive the Products, which you have ordered. This includes ensuring that the Products will freely enter your home or room of your choice, can be easily transported through doorways and stairs and that there are no issues in terms of delivery being difficult.
2.6. You must keep all contact details that we have for you up-to-date so that we can contact you in regards to any changes on your order, or delivery information of the Products. 

Our Products and Availability

3.1. The images of the Products on our site are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer’s display of the colours accurately reflect the colour of the Products. Your Products may vary slightly from those images.
3.2. Although we have made every effort to be as accurate as possible, the measurements indicated including weights, dimensions and capacities shown on our site are approximate only.
3.3. All orders for Products are subject to the availability of those Products and the materials for making the Products. We will inform you as soon as possible after placing an order if, for any reason, the Products you have ordered are not available or are subject to any delay.
3.4. If we are for any reason unable to supply the Products (i.e. where it has become discontinued or obsolete) then we will notify you. You can then either choose an alternative or receive a full refund within 14 days after the day in which we inform you of this information and cancellation of your contract with us.
3.5. Famous Designs has the liberty to remove any products from its offline and online catalogue (database) without notifying Buyers about it and without being held liable for it.
3.6. The guarantee for all other products in the Famous Designs catalogue is for a period of 1 year, starting from the day they were collected by a Third Party Shipping company. This is on top of your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act that relates to poorly described goods or faulty goods.
3.7. Any item(s) supplied by Famous Designs, which are not used exclusively in a private and domestic environment, will not be covered by any warranty or guarantee. Any warranty or guarantee will be rendered void in the event that purchased goods are used, for any period of time, in a commercial or public environment, regardless of whether they were purchased to be used in a domestic environment or are in fact used as such.
3.8. If the fault of a Product arises due to the following reasons, the above clauses will not apply:
Improper negligence or maintenance, wilful damage, unauthorised repair, misuse, failure to follow instructions, abnormal working conditions or use on your part.
Any subsequent electrolytic, chemical, mechanical or any other type of damage after risk has passed to you that is not due to a defect in the Product.
3.9. In the case of any faulty Products, Please refer to ‘Faulty or Damaged Products’ for more information.


4.1. The prices of the Products will be as quoted on our site, except in cases of obvious error. We will take reasonable care to ensure that the prices of Products are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. However if we discover an error in the price of the Product(s) you ordered, please see clause 4.4 for what happens in this case.
4.2. The price of a Product may change from time to time, and cannot be warranted for any amount of time but changes will not affect any order we have accepted and received a Payment Confirmation.
4.3. Our site contains a large number of Products. It is always possible that despite our reasonable efforts, some Products on our site may appear incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our order-handling process.
4.3.1. Where a Product’s correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Product to you.
4.3.2. If the Product’s correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Product, or reject your order and notify you of the rejection. If we are unable to contact you using the details you have provided and your payment has already been processed and we subsequently cancel your order, we will issue a refund for the value paid as soon as possible.
4.4. We are under no obligation to provide the Products to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you an order acceptance, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could have reasonably been recognized by you as a mispricing. 

How To Pay

5.1. We accept payment with the payment methods listed on our site.
5.2. You must make payment for the Products and all applicable delivery charges in full at the point of order.
5.3. If you have been given a discount code from Famous Designs or from signing up to our newsletter or similar promotions, these cannot be combined with any existing discounts we offer. This means you can only use a single code/coupon for your order. Therefore, if you possess 2 codes/coupons then you will need to decide on the best one you should use for your specific order.
5.4. If you make a purchase from Famous Designs and decide to return it, the discount amount from the code/coupon will not be refunded.
5.5. If you have failed to make payment in full for your order, it will not be processed and delivered until we receive the due amount in full.
5.6. Where you choose to pay by Bank Transfer, stock cannot be held until full payment is confirmed. Once the payment is received, Famous Designs will confirm the availability of the Product in accordance with ‘Our Products and Availability’.

6.1.The Products are to be delivered by one of our third party shipping partners to your chosen destination.
6.2.You agree that when the Products are dispatched to a third party shipping partner, all risks are passed on to you. This means you are accountable for any insurance costs, local taxes, import duties and transit times connected to the delivery of the Products. When you chose your Product(s) and have them delivered by using a shipping company, you will enter a legal contract with the third party shipping company. 6.3.Famous Designs shall do its best to make sure that the Products are dispatched from us in the agreed amount of time mentioned at the time of order. However, specific timeframes aren’t guaranteed. In case Famous Designs cannot respect its dispatch deadline, we will get in touch with you and provide you with a different date.
6.4.In case dispatch and delivery fails to be made at the date projected by us, Famous Designs will not be held liable for any expenses, damages, costs and losses you may incur because of this.
6.5. Our courier services offer a maximum of two delivery attempts. If you are unavailable a note will usually be left.
6.6. If delivery fail because someone is not available to accept it, or the incorrect delivery address is given, you will be charged in full for redelivery. This includes occasions where the originally delivery fee was discounted or free.
6.7 Delivery address can be changed, but you must email us at the earliest possible time. There is no guarantee that we can change the address.
6.8.Products can only be passed to you after we have confirmed that we have received payment in full and products have been received into stock. Any risks associated with the delivery of the products to the delivery address are passed on to you.
6.9.Delivery cannot be guaranteed for all locations, so you will need to get in touch with us and confirm if your order can indeed be delivered by our Third Party shipping partners to such locations and cover any extra charges that apply.
6.10. Upon receipt of the Products, it is your responsibility to thoroughly check them in order to make sure that they are not damaged in any way. If packaging appears to be squashed or torn, please notify us by emailing [email protected]
6.11.When removing the packaging, you need to be very careful since we cannot reimburse any damages caused by you as a result of removing the packaging. This is especially the case when opening packages using sharp objects (knives, cutters etc.)
6.12.A re-delivery fee will be charged by our Third Party Shipping Partner should they be unable to deliver the Products to you by reason of circumstances within your control (such as you not being present at the delivery address within the allocated time slot)
6.13.If no one is available at your address to take delivery and you need to rearrange a delivery, please contact us at [email protected]
6.14.Duty fees need to be paid for by you, especially if you are located or having Products dispatched to Switzerland and Norway. We will not be held responsible or liable for any eventual charges that apply on delivery of goods to any of these countries.
6.15.Any in-stock items that are delivered to your chosen delivery address that are eventually refused are subject to a return fee and admin fee, which shall be charged to you.
6.16.You will need to cover any delivery costs in advance and in full in the event that you require us to schedule a re-delivery after turning down to take delivery of an order that showed no signs of tampering or damage.

Transfer of Perils

7.1. The delivery of Products is outsourced to popular and reliable logistics companies. As a result, the handling of the Products is not directly coordinated by Famous Designs.
7.2. Famous Designs doesn’t handle the delivery of our Products. If you don’t require otherwise, it is your responsibility to have the Products delivered to your chosen location/ delivery address.
7.3. The moment the Products are handed over to the delivery company, all liability of delivering them safely and on time to your chosen location/delivery address is transferred to the logistics company.

Faulty or Damaged Products

8.1. You will need to inspect the Products upon receipt of your order.
8.2. If you notice that the packaging of your order is damaged or tampered with in any way, you need to get in touch with us by emailing at [email protected]. Either way, you will be expected to still take delivery of the Product as in general, the packaging protects the order from most types of damages. 8.3. If after removing the packaging, you notice the Product is damaged, different from what you ordered or fails to comply with your order, you need to get in touch with us right away – at least within 14 days from the day after receipt by sending us an email to  [email protected]. If you notify us later than this time, it will be deemed that you have accepted the order as it is.
8.4. If the Product is damaged or defective upon receipt while the responsibility and risk for them is still with us (Famous Designs) and you would like to file a claim of damage or defect, then;
8.4.1. It is your responsibility to retain the original packaging of the Products you ordered. The packaging also needs to be kept in good condition; otherwise we may refuse to deal with the complaint filed by you.
8.4.2. We will carefully inspect the Products in order to see whether any damage has been done either by you or us.
8.4.3. If it is our fault that the Products are damaged then we will replace them as soon as possible starting with the day you notified us of the receipt of the defective product. We do reserve the right of offering you a refund.
8.4.4. If the Products are to be replaced by us (Famous Designs), we will make the required arrangements for the damaged or defective Products to be collected from you so they can be replaced. The delivery of the new Products will be delivered to the required chosen location/delivery address at no extra charge.
8.4.5 Collections will be arrange between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday and we will ask you to let us know a suitable day before booking the collection. We will give you an estimated time slot and the courier can occasionally run over or under the time given.
8.4.6. Delivery times will apply for the replacement, which shall be regarded as a new order. It is our (Famous Designs) responsibility to cover the cost of shipping the Products to our warehouse and the final delivery to your chosen location/delivery address, if the original product was deemed inappropriate citing Clause 8.4.3.
8.4.7. If we see that you damaged the Product, the cost of replacing or repairing them falls onto you.
8.4.8. To initiate the details of a claim, please contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of receipt of the order and we will go through the process of investigation as detailed above.


9.1. To cancel an order, please contact us in writing to tell us clearly that you wish to cancel by sending e-mail to [email protected]. If you send us your cancellation notice by email, then your cancellation is effective from the date of that correspondence.

Our Returns & Refund Policy

10.1 We offer a 14-day returns period, on all Products ordered from Famous Design. This means you can notify us and initiate the process of a return within 14 days for any reasons whatsoever.
10.2 For returns, you will need to send us an email at [email protected] as soon as possible. Our return address is 11C Stephenson Rd, Clacton-on-Sea CO15 4XA.
10.3 In the case of Free Delivery promotions, you will be responsible for covering the cost for collection/return of your Products.
10.4 Any Products returned need to come in their original packaging and have to be in the same condition as when they were received by you.
10.5 We cannot arrange a collection for items that are un-boxed and it is your responsibility to make sure the products are re-boxed.
10.6 We will only be able to attempt a collection of items twice. If you miss both attempts it will be your responsibility to arrange your own collection.
10.7 Famous Designs retains the right to refuse a refund on any item deemed not to be resaleable
10.8 The refund will be made using the initial payment method you used when paying for the Products.
10.9 We do not refund the original delivery charge paid
10.10 If you decide to exercise your statutory rights, but fail to take good care of the Products until they can be shipped to us or fail to return them in their undamaged and original packaging, or fail to return them to us at all, then you will not be able to get a full refund. We will deduct the required amount of money from you as necessary to repair, recover or restock the Products. The amount charge is at the discretion of Famous Designs. 10.11 If you receive an incorrect, damaged or faulty product and the defect is not due to your own fault, but due to weather conditions, temperature or improper carrier handling, then we will arrange a solution based on the situation’s specific circumstances.


11.1.All of our Products come with a manufacturer’s warranty of 12 months.
11.2 This guarantee excludes damage caused by the buyer, damages such as normal use, improper handling, alterations made to the product, temperature or weather conditions, and loss of accessories.
11.3 You will own the goods once we have received payment in full
11.4. Famous Designs is entitled to amend its terms and conditions but any such changes will not affect contract that have already been formed.

Each of these terms Operates Independently

12.1.Any part of these Conditions and Terms and each clause is to be considered independent of all others. This means that any part of these Conditions and Terms and any clause that is found to be invalid or unenforceable shall be severed and won’t affect the validity or the enforceability of the rest of these Conditions and Terms.
